Exclusive Look at Kentucky Holy Land, a 2024 Documentary

This is the story of the American Catholic Church on the frontier, a triumph against all odds

"For centuries, rival Indian tribes clashed in fierce battles to claim dominion over the land known as The Dark and Bloody Ground. But after the Revolution, a new chapter began as American Catholics, both priests and pioneers, ventured into this untamed territory. Against all odds, they forged a legacy of faith and perseverance that continues to inspire us today."

Only one force could unify and bring light to this land, and that is the Catholic Church, conquering not by war but by Christ.

From the adventures of Daniel Boone and the early pioneers, to the storm of the Civil War, the Kentucky Holy Land film will be a grand journey and look into early American Catholicism.

Filmed at over 50 locations, including churches, museums, graveyards, towns across Kentucky, and the country side, the visuals are sure to be striking. Dozens of historical images will be included, some never before released to the public.

I, the director, of this film have been impacted forever by discovering my own history. I can’t wait to share the story of my home with you!
