A communication tool for Kentucky Catholics that allows them to quickly share their event or opportunity with relevant parishes, schools, and newsletters

Are you tired of sending out a dozen emails to get the word out about your event or opportunity? Struggling to find an email or phone number contact scattered throughout the internet?
What if there was a way to instantly add your event or opportunity to dozens of parish bulletins, groups, social media outlets, school newsletters, and share your idea with local leaders?
That is the purpose of our "Share the Word" tool. We have built a database and next-generation infrastructure for communication. This includes our own Kentucky Catholics network and community.

When someone clicks a button on our webpage, and shares with us a flyer or description of their event, we will then rely that message to all it may be relevant to: whether it be parishes or ministries in a certain area or throughout all of Kentucky.
Our “behind the scenes” database will continue to grow its connection infrastructure with all parishes, local leaders, ministries, schools, groups, and social media outlets.
Using our tool can save hours of time. Check it out here. It is free and easy to use.: https://www.kentuckycatholics.com/share-the-word

Below, I would like to discuss the current struggle and desire that lead to the creation of this tool.
Our attention at Kentucky Catholics turns now toward fostering greater communication infrastructure among parishes, schools, and ministries in Kentucky.
Contrary to what you may feel, there is no lack of events or local leaders who desire to bring more of our community together: there is thus an opportunity for stronger collaboration and mutual support between groups. Our Commonwealth is so large and diverse that it is sometimes difficult to navigate.
As someone who has hosted a handful of events now, let me paint a picture of the struggle in getting the word out.
The nearby parish is generally very open to publishing an advertisement in their bulletin. But if you seek to go beyond this, here lies the struggle.
One must then find emails and phone numbers scattered about the internet, some that give an immediate response and some that you are unsure of whether a connection was made.

The solution to this is to centralize some sort of connection base. Here in the Archdiocese of Louisville, the Deanery model is a wonderful step in the right direction, that is, centralizing an area’s parishes to a greater extent.
As for our efforts, we would like to build a very simple webpage, where an intriguing person only has to send us a flyer or a description of their event: we will then share this event or opportunity with all relevant people, parishes, deaneries, and such.
An event may only be relevant to a specific deanery, in which case, we will share it only there; or it may be of interest to all near 300 parishes in Kentucky, in which case, we would share it with them.
We will continue to support as much as possible Catholics in Kentucky with our Facebook communities, and also our growing newsletter, media publications, and website. I ask any at the dioceses of Kentucky or local ministries to reach out and continue a discussion on how we can work toward a mutual involvement and assistance in making this vision come true. Our desire is to serve and support.
Let’s continue to strive for vibrant and life-giving unity among all Catholics here, so that we may provide a better witness to all of Kentucky.
Thank you and may God bless you and all of the Catholics in Kentucky forever and ever.
Thanks for your support that has helped create this Share the Word tool: https://www.kentuckycatholics.com/share-the-word
